Beeswax Crayons

Blossom Meadow beeswax crayons are large, hard to break, and easy to grasp. We have combined pure beeswax and high-quality, non-toxic artist pigments to make natural non-toxic crayons with extraordinary color brilliancy and opacity. From our bee hives on the North Fork of eastern Long Island to your “hive”, these crayons bring happiness and spark one’s imagination.

Blossom Meadow crayons are hand-poured in the shapes of alligators and salamanders (a four pack includes two of each animal). Each crayon is layered with two colors and weighs approximately 2 ounces. The alligators measure 1 by 4 inches and salamanders measure 1 by 3 inches. Our beeswax crayons come in the following color combinations: orange/purple; blue/red; green/brown; and, yellow/black.

While major crayon brands use paraffin wax (a petroleum byproduct), little bees make the wax we use. Because this crayon is made from 100% beeswax, it smells like beeswax and honey! When allowed to sit for a period of time in a cool temperature, beeswax products, including candles and crayons, develop a natural patina called bloom. The bloom is easily removed by wiping the crayon with a soft cloth or blowing a hair dryer over the product for about 15 seconds.
